..bArkAda trip..

Friends are persons that you could be with where you are not afraid to show the real you. Besides your family, they are those persons who you can turn to when you have problems or when you are in need of care. True friendship is one of the greatest gifts in life. It is when you learn to love and trust a person. Trusting a person is perhaps hard but it is when you venerate someone other than your self.

Of course, I also have some friends of my own. I met most them in school and some during the summer days. Perhaps we were destined to meet or maybe we met in life because we need friends of our own. We experienced both happy and sad moments together and these moments are what we would always commit to memory. I had learned points of life from them. I learned how sad life would be when you are by yourself with no friends to be with. Perhaps, your friends would be your second family.

I spend time friends with my friends of the same sex playing sports, making music together, hanging out or just having good times. How I spend with my friends of the opposite sex are not so different with how I spend with my male friends. Both have something in common. It is to have good times together. Being with the same or opposite sex does not matter as long as you are having fun together as a group.

I had some many fun moments with my friends. I would just mention few of the thousand of them. One of them was on the practicing of the ABAKADA presentation. Some of us were actors and actresses; some were props men and some were group leaders. The production was about the history of our country. It was not an easy task since limited would be formed from millions of sceneries that happened in our country. It was somehow fun doing the production.

Another of my fun moments was during Intramurals 2006. It was the students’ most awaited event of the school year. It was a weeklong event where distinct year levels of the UP high school community compete with each other to get the over-all championship. Our batch won this school year’s Intramurals championship. As seniors, we were the one who would much expected to be champions so we did our best to win the title fight. Winning the championship was not an easy task since the other year levels played a tough game. But in the end, we proved to them that we were the one who played our hearts out and deserve the championship.

These moments will always be remembered for these were the times where I struggled and succeed along with my friends. I had such good times with them. I hope after reading this, you would learn how to value your friends and be thankful for having them in your life. If you learn how to keep your friends, they will last forever.
